Eyebrow Tattoo
An eyebrow tattoo is a form of permanent makeup where pigment is implanted into the skin to enhance, shape, or define the eyebrows. It’s a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure designed to mimic the look of natural brow hairs or create a fuller, more polished appearance. Unlike traditional tattoos, which use ink and go deeper into the skin, eyebrow tattoos use specialized pigments and are applied more superficially, typically fading over 1-3 years depending on factors like skin type and aftercare.
There are different techniques depending on the desired outcome:
Microblading: A manual method using a small blade to create fine, hair-like strokes. It’s ideal for a natural, feathery look.
Powder Brows: A machine-based technique that gives a soft, shaded effect, like filled-in makeup.
Ombré Brows: A variation of powder brows with a gradient effect—lighter at the front, darker at the tail.
Combination Brows: Blends microblading and shading for added depth and realism.
The process starts with a consultation to map out your brow shape, followed by numbing cream to ease discomfort. The artist then applies the pigment, and healing takes about 4-6 weeks, with a touch-up often needed to perfect the result. It’s popular for people with sparse, uneven, or over-plucked brows—or anyone wanting low-maintenance beauty
